Mike officially starts his new assignment in a new city on Monday. On a good day, it's a 50 minute drive. During rush-hour - at least 75 minutes and usually a little longer. No doubt I'm angry about it, but I'll get over it or deal with it in a different way - sooner or later. You see, it's all about the eta for me - and this commute doesn't allow for you to make assumptions regarding your arrival. I'm pretty certain dinner, on most nights, will be without him. Of course we will survive this, and I really don't want to hear how thankful we should be that he has a good job in THIS economy - not now any way. I'm still working on getting over it, remember?
Here is a little piece that moved me a little closer to "getting over it."

Oh, man. So sorry guys. Mark has a long commute too, but Mike's sounds like it will be longer.
It looks like he was appreciated at the last store.
Hang in there!
We will certainly miss him in LM.
