Our girl is all about the Pinkalicious books - she's been known to fall asleep with the books sprawled out on her bed. Her favorite, "Goldilicious" - all because of the unicorn in the illustrations. We stayed with the Pinkalicious theme for her first ever, friend invited, birthday party. After watching her brother celebrate with his buddies this winter, she was all about having her own birthday party. Planning a Pinkalicious party was fairly simple, in a Kris Jenner sort of way. The possibilities are endless - and cost effective when the birthday girl's birth date lands after Valentines Day - all things pink go on clearance on February 15th!

You can't have a Pinkalicious Party without some wands!

and you need a pink dress - even if you only wear it for 20 minutes

and paper lanterns make your party all things Pinterest

We kicked off the party by reading the book

Aunt Holly hooked us up with her cupcake decorating skills

Much to our surprise, we had some professional sand art(ers) on our hands

along with some bead jewelry crafters

and for the unicorn-lover in the family

Throw in a green food table (and don't forget the pink treat table), and some cousins who traveled a long way and you have yourself one very giggly, smiley-faced, brand new four year old girl who will talk about her Pinkalicious Day - day after day - after day.
