Celebration Week

We had big plans for Brinn's First Birthday - it all started on Wednesday when Auntie Amy and cousin Emma (or just "M" as Owen calls her) came in from New York to spend some time with us. First we hit the spa for a mani/pedi afternoon then it was off the the outlet mall for some shopping.

On Thursday night - Uncle Noel, Aunt Holly, and cousins Connor & Emma joined us. Every one brought their Wii Wheels and we enjoyed a little cake and ice cream for little Miss Brinn that evening.

So many Wii Wheels - So Little Time


On Friday, the boys spent the day with Uncle Noel (and a visit to Hooters - yes, that Hooters - where Uncle Noel claims Owen ate chicken strips - even though he's shown all signs of being a vegetarian - Uncle Noel was pretty sure this new eating leaf was a result of their waitress) while Mike wrapped things up at work. The girls headed out - once again - to Potomac Mills Mall - a serious shopping experience that included a visit to the Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Later that evening we all enjoyed dinner at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse where the kids enjoyed the flames and chopsticks.

We went home to snuggle up with a movie and hit the pillows for a busy Saturday. While we were getting the house ready for the party - the kids went to the Aquatics Center for some indoor pool fun. More party pics to come!
