We hit the lavender fields earlier this week. An annual event for sure. I was a bit surprised how much Owen enjoyed it again this year. I thought for sure sports, Star Wars, Legos, DS games, and the like would take over his brain. Last year, his efforts went to Meghan. This year - he decided on Jena.
Swarms of bees of all sorts (Owen commented that the bees should find their OWN flowers) and the beating sun took away how long we'd stay. But for the most part, we gathered three small bouquets and loved being able to have our very own scissors and collecting basket.
