Dirty Ice

Mike & I were fortunate enough to drop the kids off at Aunt Holly & Uncle Noel's for a couple of days and spend some time in Manhattan to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary (yes, a little early - but we all know the stars have to align in order to be able to go away without the kiddos). We missed them much, but enjoyed strolling through the city, good eats visiting with our niece Trish and her BF, being in the GMA audience (not really that much fun - really, not fun at all), taking in an awesome broadway show, and topping it all off with a visit to Carlo's Bake Shop (home of TLC's Cake Boss). I was hoping at a chance to dirty ice a cake with Buddy. Instead, we walked out with some italian cookies, crumb cake, cupcakes for the littles, and oh my canolis!
