In an attempt to figure out how to get photos/pictures off the web on to our blog, we started with a piece of clip art, randomly selecting .... lemons........ which reminded me of a little book we have titled, "Little Glimpses of Good," written by Jim Howard. Here is his Juicy Little Story:
Once there was a sad orange. It was sad because it didn't rhyme with anything.
It tried to act all sunny and happy, but deep down it knew it was alone.
Then one day . . .
Hey, wait a minute. I'm juicy and sweet and full of vitamins and sunshine and rain and orangey flavor. It's all good. And the moral of the story is . . .
If you're an orange, be an orange. Don't be a kiwi.
And speaking of lemons (as we weren't). When life hands you some you know what to do . . .
THE RECIPE
- Six lemons life just handed you
- One quart water, which you wouldn't have if not for the rain
- Sugar to taste
- Squeeze, pour, mix
And of course, keep tasting as you go.
And there you have it - we now know how to put pictures from the web on our blog! Ahhh... what an accomplishment.
