We subscribe to on online birthday reminder service called "Birthday Alarm." We enter birth dates of family and friends, and about a week before their birthday, we get an email reminder. Today, we received an email from them:
Got a September birthday? Do you know someone that does? You can bring clean and
safe drinking water to Africa (and be part of something really cool.)
Right now, 1 in 6 people don't have clean water to drink. This September, Birthday Alarm has teamed up with non-profit "Charity: Water" to bring clean drinking water to 333 villages in Ethiopia. One hundred percent (100%) of every penny raised builds wells that give people clean water.

It's a worthwhile clip to take a peek at.
