A Week In Review

All area students return to school this Monday and that officially makes me a Stay At Home Mom (SAHM). We've had a busy week trying things out. I joined a Mom's Group (yes, a little out of character for me, but it appears to be working) - it's more of a network in our community that links us all together and keeps us informed of what is going on in the surrounding areas (playgroups, events and activities, field trips, fund raising, etc.). It makes this SAHM gig a lot easier - we've had something to do every day this week - even if it just gets us out of the house for a few hours or gives a little change from the local park (which we love, but . . .).

First we visited our local aquatics center, surprised to see how "little kid" friendly it was. It's an all indoor facility that includes two water slides, a lazy river, Whirlpool, and a spray zone among other things.

We participated in our first play date at a member's "hobby farm" to feed the ducks, chickens, and llamas. We had a chuckle when we found out this llama's name is Isabella.

We also visited a toddler in-door gym - another thing we never knew existed in our town.

Our calendar looks like we may have more things to do then we thought. With Brinn taking up most of the attention time, I was a little worried Owen may beg me to go back to work. He has definitely ENJOYED all of our outings this week and made some friends along the way.
